Easy Day of Fishing
Our half day halibut charters are an easy way to get out on the ocean, in on the action, and take home 2 halibut per angler in a few hours. Half day charters leave Homer twice daily at 7 AM and Noon. We will spend approximately 6 hours out on the ocean. Wednesdays are closed to Homer halibut charter fishing under current regulations. We ask guests to meet the boat 30 minutes prior to departing.
Bring the Family
A half day Homer halibut charter is a great option for groups with youths and anyone who might not be up for an entire day trip. It’s a chance to get the whole family together out on the water reeling in fish for a few hours. Our youth prices are for kids 6 or 7 up until ages 15 with adult supervision.
What Else to Bring on Homer Halibut Charters
We provide all of the fishing gear needed for Homer halibut charters, but we do recommend that you dress in layers and bring rain gear—even on sunny days. The ocean breeze can be quite cool in Alaska and weather changes can occur.
Fishing Licenses
All anglers ages 16 and older will need to purchase a state of Alaska fishing license. A license can be purchased online at Alaska Department of Fish and Game or at most sporting goods stores around Alaska
