Our wildlife tours are a day long excursion that leaves Homer at 10:30 AM each morning. Guests should arrive at the boat at 10 AM. Our safe and comfortable vessels cruise along while you explore the beauty of Kachemak Bay and the Fjords of Sadie Cove and Tutka Bay. Guests depart the boat with 2.5 hours to enjoy the beauty of Seldovia and then we reconvene to head back to Homer. We typically arrive back in Homer at 5 pm although occasionally that may be a little later. All you need to bring are warm layers, binoculars, camera gear and snacks/lunch and you will have a great day on the water and seeing the wilds of Alaska.
What to Expect on your Homer Sightseeing Tour
The great thing about our day excursions is that visitors in can see a remote part of Alaska and it’s just a quick jump from Homer. It is a soul filling experience to get out on the saltwater and up close to the wildlife that call Alaska’s Kachemak Bay home. There are countless species of birds and marine life like sea otters, sea lions, and sometimes whales to see when they make their appearance.
