Fishing Hole Campground

The Fishing Hole Campground is a favorite spot for campers because it has more than 80 places to stay, some right by the beach on the Homer Spit. They have useful amenities like places to clean fish, simple bathrooms that anyone can use, clean water to drink, and it’s easy to get to a place to empty your RV waste. Nothing beats sitting by the beach in your camp chair.

West Side Tent Camping Area

This camping spot is right across from the Fishing Hole Campground and Ramp 5. It’s a peaceful place to camp on the beach, perfect for watching the sunset and otters. You can easily walk to all the fun things happening on the Homer Spit. You can only set up tents here, and you have to park your car across the street at the harbor.

Mariner Park

Mariner Park sits at the bottom of the Homer Spit, covering a big area of 111 acres. It’s a place where lots of people go to get to the beach in Homer. It’s great for all sorts of activities like jogging, walking dogs, surfing, searching for interesting things on the beach, looking for fossils, watching birds, and just relaxing and looking at the scenery. There are 34 places where you can set up camp. But you can’t book them in advance; it’s first come, first served.
