Here’s a breakdown of what’s included, what you’ll need to pack, and what to leave behind to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable trip.
Layer Up for Any Weather
In Homer, Alaska, summer weather can swing from a sunny 70°F to a chilly, windy 45°F. Layers are key to staying comfortable, as conditions can change fast. Be sure to pack a rain jacket and pants to stay dry and comfortable no matter what the day brings.
What to Pack:
- Fishing License. Alaska fishing license or harvest card if under 16. Buy it online here.
- Rain Gear. Warm, layered clothing, rain gear and waterproof shoes.
- Food & Beverages. Please pack all snacks, meals and drinks for the day.
- Motion Sickness Relief. If prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking Bonine the night before and the morning of your trip.
What’s Included:
- Experienced Captains. Experienced USCG licensed and CPR certified captains.
- Fishing Gear. Including all bait, tackle and high-quality rods/reels.
- Safe Vessel & Equipment. Well-maintained, safe vessels equipped with all essential safety gear, including life jackets.
- Fish Cleaning. By the end of your trip, we will have your fish cleaned and have it ready to get processed.
- A Good Attitude! Our expert staff is here to ensure you have the ultimate fishing experience in Homer, Alaska.

Leave It Behind:
- Large Coolers. Only personal-sized coolers for food and drinks are allowed.
- Glass Bottles.
- Illegal Drugs. No drugs allowed onboard. Although marijuana is legal in Alaska, our boats are federally regulated, making possession or use prohibited. Thank you for your understanding.
- Pets. Your furry friends will have to wait at the dock to see your amazing catch.
- Guns/Bear Spray. Please leave the following at home: firearms and bear spray. We’d prefer to avoid any accidental boat damage, and we’re pretty sure no bears will be joining us onboard!
