Alaska black bear hunt is one of the greatest thrills of big game hunting. Hunters can glass the shoreline and nearby hillsides from the comfort of the big boat captained by our USCG certified captain and be ferried to and from shore on a skiff. Our black bear hunt package is unguided once you go ashore for the stalk. Our captain will take your party to the most productive hunting grounds between Point Adam and Nuka Passage. The limit is one animal per licensed hunter. ADFG Hunting Regulations.

Our boats have many amenities. Warm cabins with bunks. A spacious dining and leisure area; tables, a flat screen TV and plenty of room to relax. Restrooms, a shower, game locker, water-maker and drying room for wet gear make this vessel perfect for a warm and comfortable Alaska black bear hunt.

Logistics

Your Alaska black bear hunt begins in the Homer Small Boat Harbor. You can load your gear the night before your hunt and stay on the boat if you would like or show up early the day of departure. We depart for the hunting grounds in the morning and may travel anywhere from 2-8 hours that day, depending on weather and time of season.
